I am a little odd amongst the fandom circles I run in right now, in that I am looking forward to, but am not overwhelmingly exciting by any stretch of the imagination by The New DA Game. It may be partly because I have no idea when I will actually get to play it, and there is no reason to get worked up over a questionmark of a timeline, and it also may be because I haven't actually sat down to play a game in… quite some time. I haven't even played more of my new Warden, Iain, since I started, and I am looking forward to his playthrough.
Now. All that said. I was saying as much of this to felspar last night, and now I suddenly find myself with ideas for two different Inquisitors.
/sigh
Currently watching the series House of Cards and I've come to the conclusion that if there is one fictional character who is shockingly similar in many ways to my Inquisitor Deitra, then it's probably Francis Underwood.
So I’ve been contemplating the possibility of a romance between Deitra and Blackwall (seeing as I am weak trash naturally) and even the mere thought of it breaks my heart because not only are the two of them complete opposites - but she’d almost without doubt use and destroy the poor man once she’s through with him.
☂ and (⑅ ‘﹃’ ) for Kosmikos Trevelyan :')
☂ = Weather the character enjoys
One great drawback of being a noble-turned-nomad is that while he loathes nothing quite as much being locked up indoors (riding out in the open fresh air on a clear warm day is the equivalent of heaven to him), Kos has in youth been spoiled with the luxury of always having a roof over his head whenever the weather turned too treacherous and seasons reached their most unforgiving temperatures. Thus, in winter you’d most likely find the man shivering beside a campfire cursing himself for his uncharacteristic feebleness and utter inability to withstand it (or in worst cases, accidentally setting one of his little forest huts on fire in a failed attempt to create a makeshift fireplace).
(⑅ ‘﹃’ ) = What the character daydreams or thinks about
For as long as anyone who knew him could remember, Kos has always been a bit of an escapist. His talent for playing, singing, and writing music first shone through at around the same age he first held a sword in his hands, and he would use it as a means of distracting himself from all the stress and endless drama that came along with living with haughty, self-absorbed people (so-called ‘family’.) Later, his Orlesian uncle Pierre would often joke about how he should have taken up a career as a bard (rather than train to become a Chevalier) and Kos would laugh at him for it.
During the events of the Inquisition, with the world collapsing in on itself, Kosmikos’ favourite string harp will become his safe haven, his tiny shelter away from the storm once again.
kosmikos trevelyan severely dislikes wearing fancy, expensive clothes of any sort but adores fashionable underwear which i think gives a pretty good impression of what kind of person he is
Which advisors will your inquisitor rely on the most?

okay so Roshan would likely listen mostly to Josephine, with her being fairly distrustful of Cullen, with his templar training, and Leliana, with her very close ties to the Divine and the chantry. That doesn't mean that she would refuse their counsel mind you, but she would be much more careful when taking their advice.
Eeeh I tag anyone who wants to do this as well (if you want to/haven’t done it already)
