Jasmine: What’s one thing your character wants?
He wants a lot of things, but one that comes through very strong is how much he would love children. He takes a special interest in kids and parents, helps out with their relationships, and will probably name his firstborn daughter Matsuko. (His favourite name for heroines in his stories / also a derivation of the name of the woman he loves: Ikumatsu.)
Laurel: If your character could be remembered for one thing, what would it be?
Bringing Peace and Liberty to Japan. He aims pretty big. And even though he’s delusional about a lot of things, current canon suggests he might achieve exactly that, with help from his friends .
(The real life Katsura is called one of the Three Great Nobles of the Restoration. Fictional Katsura is trying to live up to that.)

These towers... Were not so impressive on the inside. Boring, really. But apparently, a space in one of them belonged to her. This, she had been a little excited to discover. Just enough to distract her from the terrible context in which it came

-Only to tear the wood right from its hinges, crashing into the wall on the other side of the room with more than a slight splintery crunch.

Frankly, she had no idea. There was something that set him apart from anything she could ever remember encountering, but she was at a loss when it came to placing it. Something alluring absolutely surrounded them, yet it was almost terrible...
"...Excuse me, sir, may I ask for your name? I don't think I've seen you around before." Truthfully, she hadn't seen a vast majority of the Hive's occupants before, but that didn't make it any less true.
