Saw a spoiler for the new TKK: turns out Billy is actually in the movie, and they allude that the next Karate Kid after Li is the one Daniel gets Johnny pregnant with at the end of the movie after Daniel comes back from NY and they have a passionate tussle on the mat. Winner of the poll #1 :The haunting of Unmei

Some notes before beginning.

I made a 3 days poll last week where you could vote for the imaginary scenarios i had on VROH you like the most, because i felt the need to yap about them. And now i am telling you about it. This post that was supposed to be done on friday (but shits always happen to me). This is also the 2nd time i try to write this.

This story was elected the favorite out of 16 voters, thanks to them <3.

At the end of this post, i will do another poll for the remaining imaginary plots, you will have 3 days too to chose.

These are not canon of course, this is also not fanfictions because i can't write and english is not my primary language. However, i will try to give structures to these, let me know if you enjoyed 🫶

Summary :

If Unmei was ever asked why he had moved to Kyushu so fast last minute, he would probably reply a vague answer about his heart condition. But isn't he rather running from something ? Unmei is a peculiar boy, he had been seen by numerous strangers kicking into nothing and seems to see things no one else can see. He also knows things he shouldn't know, even with datas. Let's dive into his troubled past and make acquaintance with his spiritual "guide", shall we?

Inspos :

This was one of my least fleshed out ideas in my mind but i will make it work. Upon watching the let's play of beta chapter one, 2 things in particular caught my eyes : the imaginary soccer balls and players Unmei can occasionally see and only him sees, and the stair yokai(?) at the first training. Even tho it is not the first time we are dealing with spirits in IE, this sounded being really of place here and i wonder if Level 5 is cooking something for it and if this is just a weird idea they wanted to add for funsies.

Plot :

Due to some events before moving out, Unmei is haunted by the ghost of Kidou, except he doesn't know he is Kidou because his face melted

So far so good, the ghost is actually helpful for tactics, hissatsus and moving the plot forward (tho he tells Unmei to do things and refuses to elaborate)

The team meets Soramiya then Nagumohara vs Northbrigh match (the weird guy from Teikoku watches them)

After the match, they hang out with Soramiya

Turns out he and Unmei used to know each others a veeeeeeerrryy long time ago, and not even for long (tho Soramiya says Unmei was cool), before Unmei had his heart problems

Unmei is sus about Soramiya telling his new friends about his past and stops Soramiya to tell them more

This raises alarm bells for the team and they decide to investigate in secret

During a certain period of time, Unmei feels kinda left behind but he tries to be delulu and aloof about it and tries to convince himself it is just his imagination

In the meantime, Shisendo manages to steal Unmei's scholarship files from administration

Meanwhile, Unmei meets "by accident" the weird guy from Teikoku Alice Rendell, who decided it's rivalry time

So Unmei tries to pull off a tactic against Teikoku but can't do it alone so Kidou gives him the secret passwords to Teikoku's entrance and of his login there

This interrupts da team in their secret investigation because they have to infiltrate Teikoku's prom (this is chaotic)

They still learned from the students that a riot happened some months ago in the school, that the director had handled it by wielding a katana in the battle and sequestrated the whole school for some discipline, since then he is suspended and we basically have no news about him since that event

They also manage to collect some footages of Teikoku's playmaking

But once they were bailed out of jail (look, it's a whole another imaginary scenario), everyone but Unmei skips training because their investigations were that passionate

This leaves plenty of time for Unmei being alone with his imaginary toxic friend, to conspirate on how they are going to crush Teikoku, especially that Alice

Meanwhile, here are the results of da team investigations : Unmei had to change school A LOT because after the heart condition fatality, he had depression, changed personality for the worse, was toxic with his classmates, almost destroyed his schools several times by accident, got bullied, and his dad got to prison because he scammed too much people

At some point, bullying got so bad the bullies might or might not make a car crash into their previous house living room. That was according to his mom, but why having a driver dying such grusome death ?

Anyway, Nagumohara vs Teikoku

This is basically tactics warfare

Since da team neglected their training (and Unmei 😢) for this match, they almost lost but they tied

This was thanks to : 1. Unmei because he actually worked his ass off to rival Alice 2. Drama at Teikoku's side

The drama being : they ended up learning that Alice is singlehandedly responsible for the Riot™️, so they stopped giving a damn about him so they weren't at their best

After the match, Da Team apologized to Unmei because they weren't serious for this match, tho some of them remained distant because of what they learned about him (not Sakurazaki who kinda related to this story tbh)

Da Trio, who became friends with Haru at some point because he kept showing up for no reason, told him this crazy Teikoku situation and they all laughted

Haru : "btw, one of my uncles was running this school but after his suspension, he vanished for no reason and police is investigating on this"

The ghost later told Unmei to go to the funerarium and he meets Tsurugi there

Events of "the OG slasher" follow

At some point, Unmei and da team learned that it was Kidou the driver, not some bullies, and he basically missed a turn while escaping some lunatics who invaded his house

Events of "the cult who didn't like soccer very much" follow

The end, because i have no idea how to end this
