thinking about how when madam morrible asked for a roommate for elphaba, and glinda “volunteered”, everyone thought that was real. if i remember correctly, there was a scene where glinda’s gang are like praising her for being so selfless for volunteering
but then in what is this feeling, the line that the ensemble sings is “poor galinda, forced to reside/with someone so disgusticified”, which implies they know glinda didn’t volunteer and was in fact chosen by madam morrible . . .
