Thank you all, again, for following the progress of this blog and for sending in asks good or bad. I’m making this to tell you all that even if this blog restarts under a new name, I won’t be on the team because of multiple reasons.
I don’t want to bog anyone’s dash down, so I’m putting it under a read more.
Firstly, I’m tired of playing a character turned into a magic anon infected shell of a person used as shipping fodder. I joined this blog as Pat because I thought it would be good practice in case I wanted to do other ones as well and it... quickly went downhill. It was as though he was dragged along backwards down a staircase that only left him mangled and a pitiful mess of a man. This isn’t what I signed up for. All it leaves me is tired and not wanting to draw or write contributing to the blog and begrudgingly having to return to a muse played with as a toy by others, to the point of being a character who trembles on the floor without a desire to move. Even if M!A’s are taken away, he’s still broken. It’s sickening for me.
Secondly, more importantly, as somebody also possessing mental disorders, I can’t help but get slightly offended by some of the representations on here as well. I have gotten control of some of my disorders but I know what they can do to people, and I know that it doesn’t always make somebody virtually into a child. And a lot of the things characters did was very wrong for their situations, even past the concept of ‘personal interpretation.’ When I joined I hadn’t seen much of what the mods were going to do, and by the time I did I didn’t want to start any arguments so I went along with it like a sheep. This doesn’t mean I hold any grudges or that I want to start conflict, in fact it means the opposite. I’m a coward because I didn’t say anything even when I saw this and that I was too afraid to confront anyone. I accept anything you call me because I let this happen and all I can ask for is forgiveness.
From this point onward I won’t play Pat any longer on this blog. I appreciate you all, even those who sent in criticism and those who wished this blog the worst. All I can hope to do is earn back your trust and understanding.
“Thank y-you, but you don’t need to do that!” He waved his hands defensively in front of himself with an embarrassed smile. “I am not that cute, you don’t have to try and convince me, anon!”
“I can’t go wherever I want to. Also, I’m not allowed to do much unless I have supervision. I’m new, remember?” He sighed. “I tested my limits with Edd. I don’t want to lose my job. Believe me that I want to check on him, but there’s other nurses in the area. I’m sorry.”
"Kind of like caretakers." He said, reaching onto his cart. "Nurses work as the caretakers. We bond with the patients and help them adjust and take care of them."
“Well, hm.” Pat thought for a few moments. “I know Eduardo, as he’s the head of security and Mark because he’s the key holder. I believe there was also another guard that follows Eduardo around, too.” He shrugged briefly, glancing to the side. “Now I know Edd slightly.”
“…”
After a few moments, he frowned and made eye contact again. “Some of the patients’ names seem a bit familiar though. Such as the Paul or the Tord. Maybe I knew some of them.” He smiled nervously and shook his head. “That just tells you how close we all are to being in one of those cells, right?”
