Hijo meets the spirit legionaire
So this story is based upon my Character's experience in a Byond made game called Eternia Roleplay. I have put so many hours into this game and still am. So I'm going to be posting my experiences on here. I will eventually catch up to myself in game and my posts will get slower.....so ya enjoy!
Hijo skipped through the cave killing any yokai with just a single slash of his clawed gauntlet. Hijo listened to his voices bicker in his head.
"Sooooo who should we try and recruit next hahaha? It would be fun to get more Drakanite in our army. They've been wronged quite a bit hahaha easy to convince hehehe." Chaos said.
"I Dont care who we recruit as long as they're good at killing. Are the Drakanite good at killing?" Murderous asked
"HAHAHAHA! ARE THEY GOOD AT KILLING?!?!? Murderous they're a dragon human race what do you think? Hahahahaaaa most ridiculous thing I've ever heard." Chaos mocked murderous
"I'LL KILL YOU!!!" Murderous screamed.
"Hahaha we're just voices in Hijo's head well technically we make Hijo who he is but that's beside the point. You can't kill me since we're just voices. You don't even have hands hahahaaa!" Chaos continued to mock
"Guys can you please calm down. I agree a Drakanite would be a good idea to recruit next." Goodness spoke trying to calm them both down changing the subject back to the main matter.
Hijo just listened. He agreed it was a good idea to recruit a Drakanite next.
"Alright so it's settled!" Hijo spoke then did a flip clapping his hands while looking at a huge hoard of mega yokai. "We'll recruit another Drakanite as soon as possible! Hahaaaa!" Hijo screamed with joy as he went through the yokai slicing them all to pieces with his metal clawed gauntlet.
"Hahahahaha This is so much fun!!!!" Hijo screamed
"Hahahaha oh yesss it is!" Chaos agreed.
"Kill them yaaaa!" Murderous yelled
"Oh boy he's doing his 'fun' again *Sigh*....hey guys is it just me or did this cave just get really hot?" Goodness questioned.
Hijo started feeling the cave get warmer and wamer as he doug his claws into the last yokai's throat ripping it's flesh apart.
"What is going on? Haha who turned up the heat?" Hijo questioned (Hijo Shikina)
There were voices in the cave...
The screams of dying and dead Yokai echoed throughout the caves of Trystle. Typically, such things were commonplace, but they were louder now, more frequent. Mixed among the screams was the sound of laughing. An insane kind, denoting instability. While normally, Lucius would ignore such things, maybe a passing occultist or the like, this was different, more powerful. It was scaring people.
Leaving the small settlement he had created, he would find in the cave, a rather ragged looking man. The source of the screaming, surrounded by blood and Yokai bodies. The man seemed powerful, and the gauntlet on his hand... it would seem rather dangerous. Certainly not the kind of person Lucius wanted stumbling across the outpost.
Moving himself closer, the man would notice that the very ground beneath him would seem to grow soft, as if it was melting. Though, the ground itself would not harm him. Rather, the hottest parts Lucius would save for the walls. Sheets of rock and dirt would fall off the wall and into a pool of lava, held back from incinerating the man only by lucius. Around that, a stone wall would appear in front of him, blocking him from moving forward. His movements away now mostly restricted.
From behind, Lucius would take his Gladius, and gently press it into the mans back. Enough that he could feel it's point, and the burn from the heat radiating through it, but not so much as to stick him through. Not yet. He wanted to know why he was here.
"Name. Now." (Lucius Volusenna)
Hijo sudenly felt a huge burst of heat on his back and a oint of a blade digging into skin not piercing his flesh. Hijo for once was nervice as someone had got the jump on him for once. Which usualy it was him who got the jump on them. His voices were just as confused as him. Hijo ignored them and spoke.
"Hahahaaa now this is interesting! I've never had anyone sneak up on me before! You are for sure a first! hahaha! I'll give you the honor of knowing my name as long as you promise not to attack or kill me and I shall do the same! Although I guess I'm in no situation to make demands." Hijo then spun a 180 and did a back flip away landing only to feet away form his original spot. "My name is Hijo Shikina! I promise you I mean no harm to you or whatever you are..." Hijo said this looking at the translucent figure. He could barely see him.
Hijo's voices were going crazy wondering what the hell was going on. Hijo again ignored him
The figure was in an armor Hijo had never seen before. His helmet had a plume on it that was red.
"What are you exactly? I've heard of drop dead before but this is just crazy! Even for me hahaaaa!" The insane jester said in a joking manner. (Hijo Shikina)
Lucius would hold his sword there for just a few more moments. This... Hijo. Lucius did not trust him. But, he would set his sword down for just a moment. Though, it would stay ready at his side. The lava however, would stay, and the heat would stay at it's current temperature
The way he spoke, it was clearly deranged. Dangerous. By all rights, he was the kind of person Lucius was liable to strike down then and there. But he would give him the benefit of the doubt. Though, the first sign of trouble, and that would be it.
"Lucius Volusenna. Spirit of the legion. And, last Taldaran of the valmasian chapter of the legion. That, is what I am. And what you are, is an intruder in my part of the cave."
Even as translucent as he was, Hijo would see the deathly glare behind lucius' helmet. The light the lava gave off would give the spirit a slight outline, and a dull reflection in his armor. A shield sat attached to his other arm. It looking as if it too had seen it's fair share of battles. Lucius would wait for a response, though he would also step closer. The heat he gave off would be unbearable. Though, if Hijo stepped back, he would find that wall of rock that had appeared was still there. (Lucius Volusenna)
Hijo listened to Lucius. Spirit of Legion? last Taldaran? What are these things and of Hijo didn't think fast Hijo will learn that he really didn't enter the wrong part of the cave.
Hijo did a silly heart warming smile.
"Well you see I was literally just passing through honest to god or whatever. Anyways I killed those yokai because they were in my way, training, and just for pure fun!" Hijo was telling the truth he knew that was the only way out of it. Then Hijo's voices started speaking again.
"Fight him! Kill him!!!" Murderous was throwing a fit and wanted a fight and was trying to control Hijo's body trying to move his feet foward but he didn't let himself be moved.
"Hahaha oh come on let's fight! What's the worst that could happen? We lose our lives! Big deal hahahaaaa! It sounds exciting and fun! Plus you and I or is it just I? hmmmm who cares!!! Hahaaaa! Let's just have some fun and feel the pain we love!" Chaos sounded very convincing. But Goodness was more convincing.
"Now now Hijo you know you're at a disadvantage. Who knows what this spirit man is capable of. Besides if he's this strong and use to be a legionaire how about you try recruiting him into your army to work for you. Every soldier loves the thrill of battle plus he would be helpful on bringing the good back to the cities. You want to help those who have been wronged well look at this man. He's dead and still isn't at rest. How about we see if he's willing to help." Goodness tried her best to convince Hijo and it worked.
Hijo got a big grin on his face.
"Well I promise you this. I'm not here to harm you. But you know you look like a strong respectable guy. I have an offer for you. How about you help me bring the right to those who have been wronged. You see I have a goal. To take over the cities for those who have been wronged. The poor, the homeless, the slaves, the hardworkers who barely get a CR a day. I want to help them. I'm the leader of this group...The Wronged. We could use your help. I'd love for you to be apart of my army. If not I understand." Hijo said that last line with a little bit of sadness on his face. "But please let me on through if you decline I just want to get to the Sarab so I can think more clearly. So what do you say would you like to join my group?" Hijo put his smile back on his face extending his hand out. (Hijo Shikina)
(from this point onward we did a thing called white text. This is where we just did the dialogue only without our thought process behind everything.]
Lucius Volusenna: I can't. I have my own obligations
Hijo Shikina: Ah! I see very well. But may I go? I really was just passing through. I mean I may be a psycho but I promise I won't cause trouble.
Lucius Volusenna: Fine. But next time you pass through, stick to the other side of the cave. The west path.
Hijo Shikina: Hmmm very well! But I will try to convince you to join me one day! I'll just have to find you again.
Lucius Volusenna: Aha. Well I'm afraid it won't be happening
Hijo Shikina: very well. I will try again. Goodbye <*Skips away*>
