"Could you go out to buy some tomatoes from the market? I'm busy at the moment."
ugh stahl breaking down just destroys my heart because he is so collected and grounded and literally unshakeable but when something breaks him and he just cries and sobs i dont think i'd be able to take th ta
cordelia probably gets really childish and cries a lot when shes pregnant and throws mini tantrums that no one would ever expect
Cordelia would probably get really bad morning sickness when she first gets pregnant.. Vomiting, fevers, severe muscle aches - the whole package.
And poor Stahl probably is losing his mind while Cordelia is bound to the bathroom for a week, at least. She tries to tell him that everything is alright, but he pleads with his life for him to stay home and watch over her and she has no strength to fight back (Robin probably would let him off right when she heard Cordelia wasn’t reacting well).
Bonus: (fxdelitas) Connor flipping a shit because Cordelia literally looks like death
nonsexual acts of intimacy:
cuddling in blankets
As the winter in Ylisse hit its highest peak, Cordelia found it progressively harder to manage her internal temperature — there were only so many layers she could stack on.
Stahl, on the other hand, radiated heat no matter what season. And for this reason, she found herself drawing close to him like a moth to a light, seeking his warmth that was enough for both of them.
“It’s too cold.”
“You say that every year, Cordelia.”
“Because it’s true!”
He laughed, standing up to walk away, earning a whine from his wife, who was still shivering. Stahl returned with blankets, a lot of them. And he wrapped her in one first before placing one around both of their shoulders (but the blanket didn’t fit around both of them, so he just settled while she sat in his lap).
“Better?”
She mumbled something that seemed similar enough to an expression of approval, but didn’t speak for the next few minutes. When he turned his head, he realized she was deep in sleep, seizing the opportunity to rest while she was warm.
Cordelia pressed herself closer to the nearest source of warmth, which happened to be Stahl’s own body, but he didn’t mind. He let her bask in the rare moment where she was comfortable enough to sleep in her most hated season.
nonsexual acts of intimacy:
falling asleep in the other’s lap
After they retired their lances and their mounts, Stahl and Cordelia found shelter under the shade of a large tree. Both worn out from excessive training over the past few weeks, from their respective jobs as well as the extra time put into individual practice, they relished the comfort of the silent environment.
He lay his head onto her lap, making himself comfortable, as she look down at him and smiled. They’d only been married for a few months, but it felt as if they were still in the army, having no other obligation except to Chrom himself, instead of managing a whole squadron of their own.
Her fingers danced across his skin, delicate tips gently brushing every one of his facial features, though they were long engraved into her mind already. It was hard to believe that he considered himself so average when she believed him to have very handsome features.
He hummed a folktale, closing his eyes to let her soft touch coax him to sleep. The hint of the afternoon sun melting away his troubles as he fell into a deep slumber.
