Fascinating observation discovered by chance in Yume 2kki tonight - I love the insect effect. Never does anything it seems, it's not very popular, but I love it to pieces.
Well, I happened to wander into this room while wearing it, and... The npc here responds to the effect??? If I buzz, no matter where I'm standing, she scooches towards me, swelling disproportionately all the while. If I buzz while she's next to me, she swells and there's rapid splashing noises like if you run around in the water fast.

I only had 11 effects on me, but testing proved that nothing else provoked this sort of response. I'm honestly Fascinated by this phenomenon. Hoping I can remember to return here with all effects and test more thoroughly. For now; I'm just glad to know Insect can actually Do Something.
