[ FLYKILLER GRACE ] [#0]
Subject: The "fly" mech, actually a semi-sentient synthetic lifeform with the natural abilities of a housefly, along with powerful acid sprays, replication abilities and flight. Pilot must be "swallowed" and linked with 'bug friend' via the brainstem. Decoupling the pilot requires regeneration of limbs in a 'maggot' form. A hazardous downside in the field. Otherwise, the mech is a powerful weapon of the Inner City's premiere PMC, Holy Locust LLC.
So I just came up with the most visually-minimalist insect/crawler/walker type mecha ever.
It’s your standard office swivel chair, except instead of wheels, it has 4 pointy-ended daddy-long-legs legs made out of stainless steel that move via motors. It has gyroscopes and other technological wizardry to allow it to keep up a decent clip even if the swivel bottom starts to rotate and move the legs around physically.
