"The times are changing and I'm getting old. Are you gonna hold me accountable? My bed is empty, and I'm getting cold. Isn't anybody gonna hold me accountable?"
Favourite moments and favourite parts of songs from Bo Burnhams Inside
Part 7 - Problematic
I have to admit, this one was the hardest one yet. But I can't help myself, I love a good challenge! Fully done in acrylics on gray paper.
Parts:
1 - Content
2 - How The World Works
3 - White Woman’s Instagram
4 - All Eyes On Me
5 - Sexting
6 - Comedy
I get that 'Problematic' in Bo Burnhams Inside is kind of parody on music videos from gym where girls are all wet and sexy. Everytime I see some music video like this I think it's incredibly sexist. That they are doing something like this just to lure men who are thirsty, to get views.
BUT after seeing Problematic I totally get it. I totally get why they are thirsty when they see something like this in women version.
When he is all so messy, wet and sweaty while singing about selfrealization. Doing his little dance and that adorable silly work out (the ball on string etc.). That wonderful work with lights, colors, close ups, angles... Everything together is just so intimate and erotic and beautiful.
As always he is proving his point while doing the thing so much better than anyone else and makes you think. It deserves so much more recognition.
