INSIDE Secure, Octoshape partner for broadband TV Pascale Paoli-Lebailly | 25-03-2014 Security solutions provider INSIDE Secure and Octoshape, a specialist in cloud-based over-the-top (OTT) streaming technology, have entered into a strategic partnership to securely deliver premium content to broadband multiscreen devices. The partnership will enable service providers, content providers and operators to have the same quality and economics as traditional broadcast TV platforms. The integration takes advantage of Octoshape's Infinite HD-M broadband-enabled Multicast suite of technologies, and of INSIDE Secure's DRM solution. It aims to provide an end-to-end system that represents innovation for broadband OTT IPTV services. The solution will debut at NAB 2014, demonstrating global, secure broadband multiscreen video delivery via Native and AMT Multicast. Driven by customer demand, both partners have a fully interoperable product designed to prevent hackers from tapping into streamed or downloaded, offline content. They are also already engaged in joint customer projects, focusing on further aligning product roadmaps in order to continue raising the bar for OTT delivery.
