MK Moments in March Day 23: Part of the chorus, willing to kill for the lead in Inside the Extras Studio S2E4
This show is very weird and very silly, and I greatly enjoy some aspects of it while I feel like others don’t quite work, but this episode is utter perfection, especially this part. I love the pun, and how terrifying their faces are when they’re singing about becoming assassins. Also MK and Jon Cozart sound great together and I would love more duets from them. Also ITES Season 3 is in the process of being posted and for some reason is getting like no views, so check it out if you’re looking for something fun to watch.
I’m going to attempt to do a series where I post a gifset of a Starkid/adjacent member every day! The first is the lovely Ashley Clements, who is far too talented for her own good. She is hilarious, has impeccable timing, and all the while, remains kind. I first discovered Ashley through Solve it Squad, and re-discovered her through Poe Party. She’s working her ass off with Idiot Tale, and deserves so much love and respect 💛

I’m not sure why everyone’s sleeping on this Kickstarter, but here are a few of the many reasons why you should back it:
Mildly Fearsome Films makes quirky, fun, silly projects that are criminally underrated. For some reason, their videos get hardly any views, even though they’re exactly the kind of thing I need to turn to when I’ve had a bad day.
One of my favorite things they’ve made is the musical short Sudden Death!, which is ridiculous and amazing, and you can get the soundtrack if you pledge $5 to this Kickstarter (and it’s also included in a lot of the higher perk levels as well).
Barry Bostwick is hilarious, especially as Milt Hamilton, the host of Inside the Extras Studio and Worst Extra Ever. His absolutely perfect delivery of his (mostly ridiculous) lines is priceless.
MARY. KATE. FREAKING. WILES.
The second season of ITES is, in fact, better than the first (partly, but not entirely, because MK’s in it), so if this trend continues, the third season is going to be beyond amazing.
The Willy Wonka Worst Extra Ever episode (which somehow only has 600 views even though I'm pretty sure I’ve watched it more than that) still makes me laugh every. single. time. More videos like this should exist.
In addition to more of the hilarious shows about extras, they’re planning to make a new literary-inspired webseries. About Sherlock Holmes.
Also SEAN. FREAKING. PERSAUD. is apparently going to be in it.
Doug Jones, who by all accounts is one of the nicest people in Hollywood, is also involved in these projects.

I mean...it was cute until it was revealed that Joey had murdered Sean and was using his face as a mask...which, while I appreciate the layers of reference jokes it takes to fully unpack, kind of ruined some of the cuteness for me. I'm not generally a huge fan of watching people make out, but I do believe this is the first project since I Ship It in which MK's and Sean's characters have kissed, so I guess they were due for some onscreen smooching.
