ooc: DON'T BE JEALOUS! ASK MOUNTAIN MAKES ME FEEL GUILTY AND INSECURE.
BECAUSE I CANNOT ANSWER THINGS IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Oh god it’s that thing again. Jesus Fucking Christ. Don’t make eye contact. Cas…. It’s not Cas, get yourself together. It’s not Cas. It’s not Cas. It’s not Cas. It’s not Cas. It’s not Cas. It’s not Cas. It’s not Cas. It’s not Cas. It’s not Cas. It’s not Cas. It’s not Cas. It’s not Cas…..
Dean swallowed hard and placed his hand over the small bottle of Borax at his hip.

His Final Hour
It was like a ticking in his brain. A bomb about to go off. An explosion that would take him and everything else with it. The Righteous Man had taken himself as far away from Humanity as he possibly could. He had locked himself in an old Hunting lodge out in the woods. Had chained himself to the radiator and hoped that would hold him. Would keep him back. Keep him bound. Stop him from hurting.... Killing... Destroying people should he lose control.
The Hunter could barely breathe. He could barely see. He could barely hear. All his concentration going into keeping Them trapped within himself. Stopping Them from escaping. It was his only purpose in life now. He couldn't get to Purgatory. Not in his condition. And even if he could, there was no one who would help him. And the people who knew how to get there weren't exactly making themselves known.
They were never silent. Sometimes They whispered. Sometimes they screamed. Sometimes They muttered. Sometimes they giggled. But They were never silent. Never silent. Madness was sinking in and the Righteous Man had taken to screaming at shadows and lashing out at nothing. His wounds were not from attack, but from himself. From scrabbling at the walls. From slamming himself into the hard floor. From Them trying to get out. Constantly trying to get out.
It was just Them and Him.
He screamed.
They laughed.
it's going to devour you. A STEADY s t r e a m of sound crawling up the rungs of your ribcage, a sibilance of shattering resolve creeping up through the dawning of realization in the back of the skull ; THEY'RE GOING TO EAT YOU ALIVE. Piece by piece, shedding skin as a serpent does in glorious rebirth, awakening drowning and breathing in the beautiful B L A C K all at once -- does it not sound DESIRABLE, o' rIGHTEOUS MAN?
His agonised scream echoed off the walls and vibrated along his bones. He could feel Them begin to tear him apart. Taste Them on his tongue. Hear Them laugh and shout and scream. They bellowed Their surety of victory and snarled against his defiance.
“Stop…. Please…. God, help me. Someone, help me. Stop. Please, Stop. s T o P.”
tick tock, tick tock. do you hear it? THE RATTLING IN YOUR BONES? the war drums resound in the imprisonment of brittle bones, seizes and lurches against the thin water of piteous marrow and thrums in the blood and blackness pouring from the prayers entrenched in your gut. R E L E A S E it. We're WAITING.
He threw his head back and his spine arched in a perfect curve. The splintered remains of his fingernails clawed at his face. Bloodied furrows travelled down his cheeks and murky water blinded his eyes.
They rallied against muscle, matter and bone. They shrieked and tittered and mocked the Righteous Man.His garbled prayers were drowned in swamp water and tar. The blood that soaked his clothes and stained his skin was his own.
For now.
