(pt.2) can i say something to that anon? I don't know how old you are or how exposed you are to topics such as these so im not going to condemn you for not understanding. i only recently learned about this too but as jho said, there are a varying number of genders in the gender spectrum aside from the typical "boy" and "girl" that we are used to. you can come message me if you want to know more about them but for now, i can tell you that gender is a very sensitive thing for some people -cont-(pt.3) -cont- this is due to the fact that there are many types of genders that people don't understand and it's hard for them to fit in or have others accept them. an example of this would be transgender wherein your sex (your genital/anatomical make up) does not exactly match with the gender that you identify with. i.e. you could be born with the body of a male but your emotions and thoughts more closely identify to those of a female. -cont-(pt.4) -cont- it's troubling for people who don't identify as the "typical" genders, and very disrespectful when someone says they're confused or refuses to acknowledge the gender they identify as. i know it's hard to understand, but for the sake of respecting and helping people accept themselves please be more mindful of your words and try to be more open minded. you can really hurt someone who might already be having a hard time

Anon, this whole entire post exactly. If you’re willingly being a jerk about this, then you can understand why I responded to you the way I did. But, if you’re misguided about the subject then you should’ve asked instead, because even if it wasn’t intentional, you were downtalking someone’s feelings and that I don’t appreciate. But, like Day said, if you want to know more about the subject you can talk to her or me, whichever one - and hopefully, you don’t do this again.

UGH how dare you asking me this!!! ok let me tell you about Yoongi.

Tbh I feel like the army fandom has a lot of Yoongi stans? Which is cool!! It’s just more obvious how relatable he can be hahaha, and this is honestly why I started stanning Yoongi lol, it mostly had to do with his actions and words being able to to reach to me and like idk I just felt like I could relate to him, when he raps about his struggle or he talks about himself I can feel his ingenuity and I appreciate this so much! I see Yoongi as someone who had to sacrifice a lot to get himself where he is now and for what? For the sake of his music, because he has said it so many times- how he just wants people to listen to what he has to offer, his sound, his lyrics,  and you know I find this so inspiring because this is exactly how a true artist behaves; this need to share their creations with the world!!! 

And you know, I just I aspire to be like that!! I want to feel so passionate about creating art that I’ll have to sacrifice any of my beliefs to share what I want to share, I want to dream like him I want to dream big and slowly step by step get myself there, surpassing all the difficulties and problems and hate and all sorts of shit that wants to stand in my way. I find him inspiring and amazing in that way; I see him as someone that helps me develop myself!!
