His mind on the pretty face across the street, Zelos almost didn’t hear the question at first. When it registered, he turned to face the blond man, gaze immediately dropping to the item in the man’s hand. It was a gald, but not one of the coins used here in Auldrant. Instead it was stamped with the Tethe’allan royal crest. “Hm, did I drop that?” he wondered aloud, hand automatically going to his pocket to check for a hole. It marked him as a foreigner for sure, having such a bizarre coin in his possession.

“I suppose thanks are in order” he said, holding out his hand to take the coin back, waiting for Jade to hand it over. “It appears I’ve been careless.”

Character in general: JADE. Oh. My. Freaking. Gosh. I was just spazzing about Jade with Kat when I slept over at her house the other day. Anyway, I absolutely love Jade. I love sass in a character very much, but holy crap he's more than that. You know, the one thing I couldn't forget about Jade was the time he got angry at Luke. Because he didn't strike me as the type to feel anything strongly towards another person, especially if that someone was a spoiled rich kid who only knew how to complain about the everyday hassles of life. But Jade most certainly feels something--he's just so in control of his emotions that they rarely show. And I suppose past events turned him somewhat numb. Oh, and he's also a casual and obvious troll. Most of the time he doesn't even try to hide it when he's making fun of someone, and that amuses me greatly. idk man help i love this guy. And his eyes.How they play them: AMAZINGLY IN CHARACTER. It's like talking to the colonel himself. It also helps that her writing skills just keep on leveling up. (I was with her when she practically just started on Aki, and holy hell look at her now. She's a master a;lskdoergj) That, and it always surprises me how much of a handle she's got on Jade's thoughts and emotions. I'M ALSO BEING REALLY HONEST HERE but she's kind of my favorite Jade yep.The Mun: Where do I even begin? We've been friends for more than two years now, I think? I met her around the time I met Shel, so... anyway, she's become an important part of my life now. I'm glad that she lives in the same country as I do, so we get to meet up on occasion, and we get to talk, plan out our threads in a more detailed and easier manner, and just spazz about our characters in general. She's one of my best friends, so help me god I'd try to keep her all her adorable in a box if I could.

"I don’t understand why you can’t bandage your own wounds, asshole," Asch grunted, tightening the brace around Jade’s ankle.

The older man laughed. “I’m afraid these old bones just aren’t what they used to be.How nice of you to bandage it for me.”

Asch huffed and finished binding the ankle. “Next time you get shoved down a flight of stairs, I’m going to laugh and walk away before you ask me for help.” He moved up to bandage some minor scrapes on the necromancer’s knee.

Jade looked mildly surprised. “Don’t bother with those. They’ll heal up quick enough.”

Asch shook his head. “They’ll get infected. Might as well do it while I’m down here.” He brushed some hair back from his face as he carefully applied the antiseptic and bandages. A little further up, on the expanse of pale skin protruding from from Jades’ towel, Asch noticed another scrape. It seemed a bit deeper. he went to tend to it.

Jade let out a low hiss. Asch snorted. “Did it hurt?”

"Hah… the wound doesn’t hurt so much and your indelicate touch. You’d think you were binding a bundle of twigs. Be a little more gentle."

Asch rolled his eyes and finished up his job a little more carefully. Then, almost without a second thought, he leaned forward and pressed his lips to the bandage, right above the bandage, and right below the bandage.

"There. Feel better, you old coot."
