How did he view his current life? Compared to the one a couple of years prior, it was at its beginning stages, only a newly hatched phoenix in the ashes. While he had lost many connections and pawns to his checkerboard, he had escaped reputation and those who wanted him dead. Sans two individuals, that is-- though he knew Shinra would never wish death upon on him and Celty kept to herself. It was a somewhat harmonic balance, he figured, all things considered. Though he certainly felt more lonely ( dare he even think of the emotion ) it had a new window for changes waiting to be opened.
“I think it’s going to be an experience where I’ll get to meet many, many people. So far it’s fun and promising and I’m looking forward to learning about everyone I come across.” Strange thing to say, but he thinks it’s a good enough answer.
