hIIIII CAN I pllease request a scenario where Link meets the girl that he crushed on when he was a homeless boy hahaha? And how would their relationship be like ahahah cool thanks ur doing so gr8 <3
asdfghjk Thank you so muchhh! ♥
Link could have sworn he recognized that woman as she passed, she looked so much like her… His feet moved before he’d even processed the thought. He’d lost a little ground on his hesitation, but he was quick to catch up with her. He’d just ask her, it couldn’t possibly be her though, could it? “Excuse me, miss?” He lightly grabbed her arm, gaining her attention.
As she turned around, Link’s doubts were immediately snuffed out. There was no way it wasn’t her, everything about her looked too alike. It was too much coincidence to be so. “I’m sorry, could I help you?” It hadn’t seemed to have clicked who he was to her, if this woman was that same girl.. “I apologize miss, you just look like someone I knew many years ago… Would your name happen to be (y/f/n) (y/l/n)?”
She seemed surprised and quite possibly confused as well, that was to be expected if she didn’t recognize him though. “Yes, that is my name, or it was before I was married. Do we know each other?” His heart sunk a little, but he nodded. “It’s me, Howard Link, remember me?” Her face lit up and she giggled, “How silly of me! You don’t even look that different and I could barely recognize you! I’m so glad to see you’re doing well!”
They made a little small talk, telling each other how they’d been since they were kids. He soon realized, he’d taken up quite a bit of her time and profusely apologized. “Don’t worry, I don’t mind catching up with an old friend, it really was good to see you doing so well! Don’t be a stranger now, okay?” With that, they said farewells and parted ways, but Link felt lighter inside. He was glad to see that she was doing just fine and to have a little bit of closure on his feelings in the past. It felt… relieving.
