Inspirations 2024 - Dreaming Dreams is a compilation and update of inspirational blog postings we release once every week via social media. It’s chock-full of history and important quotes, contributions and lessons learned from historical events, leaders in several fields, writers and other artists. These have inspired us in writing Adam in Taoland and the two sequel novels in our Dreaming Dreams trilogy. The subjects of these inspirations traverse several millennia of human history — dating back to Lao Tsu, the founder of Taoism 2600 years ago up to the launch of the Iphone by Steve Jobs just 16 years ago. We include moral and spiritual figures including Martin Luther King, the Buddha, Mother Theresa, Gandhi, Rosa Parks, and Jesus Christ. And renowned writers and painters such as Picasso, JRR Tolkien, Shakespeare, Joyce Kilmer, Emily Dickenson, John Steinbeck, Joseph Campbell, and other greats. We also draw inspiration from geopolitical leaders including George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, John F Kennedy, and more. Finally we summarize the important individual contributions to the human race by Helen Keller, Freidrich Neitzsche, Albert Einstein, Confucius, Nikola Tesla, and others. We even include a few negatives in history such as the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the evils of Joseph Stalin — lessons that teach us that history must never be erased or altered — lest we come to repeat it. We hope the words of these pages might inspire you to commit to becoming better versions of yourselves — as they have done for us, your authors.
