Thanks for this and that clarifies things. I definitely didn't get the feeling that you thought it was dying, just that you were gauging to see what people identify gyaru with. I feel it was always a bit hazy and broad defining gyaru. When you had extremes like ganguro and hime gyaru. How do you come up with one definition that encompasses both these substyles, it's nearly impossible xP  Having the makeup consistent helps with defining. :) Ah, all I knew is Alba Rosa shut down and re-invented itself. I miss the Hibiscus and Hawaiian Vacation~ feel of it all. I wonder if the brand is doing as well as before.
