At @kilifimissionproject and @sortedlifechurch we are #inspiringtransformation through #FaithWordsAndAction. We take advantage of the interests of the community to engage them in programs that holistically transform their lives. One of such interests among the youth at the coast is Sports. Together with our partners we are setting up a Sports Academy within The Kilifi Mission and Transformation Center. We are starting with Football or Soccer (Nyota FC) and later on volleyball and so on. And are not just playing sports or football; We are intentional about instilling Christian values and principles and teaching life-skills among other transformational experiences, as we engage on this. And just for your information, we are currently fully supporting three students in High School and one in primary; as well as offering weeekly nutritious porridge to between 40 and 60 kids; as a way of reducing malnutrition cases, especially kwashiorkor among the kids we reach to.
