Instabots on Instagram

If you are an instagram user, have you recently noticed some users constantly 'like' all  your photos, all the time?

These users utilize a software script to read instagram for certain hash tags, for example #me #like etc...  if your photo is tagged with these hashtags, then the auto-bot will like your photo.  The users use this script to built a  following of thousands of followers in no time, but if you check their photo stream on Statigram, none of their pictures made it to popular page.

Another give away are the comments from other users, comments such as "don't you sleep?" or "how do you like all my photos so quickly"? Most of the followers are oblivious to the fact that this person who liked all your photos don't really like your photos, they just want to trick you to following them.  I mean, if someone is going to like all the photos you posted, every single time, when they aren't following you...  there is something strange going on.

if you read their profiles, a couple of them are software developers / computer programmers....   they all have thousands of followers, follow few back, & the comments by other users on their photos are quite similiar.

Instagram is amazing, but really sucks when there are instabots around.
