When things don’t go how I was hoping, -after a long time of praying, waiting and anticipation- it is easy to worry and doubt. Like, hey God, you are leading us to this, you’re doing this, this is happening- but why is it turning out this way? This is not what I was expecting. There are multiple situations this apply to in my life and loved ones I know. And I realize that if God is bringing us into something, that is the perfect moment to not let worry or doubt enter, but to discard it and be at peace that He’s got us- even still. He loves us. He’s good, and He has good for us. We can’t look at how things appear, we can’t bank on the news we get or the disappointments that twist our gut. In every good adventure, the journey takes an unexpected twist.Curve ball, you could say. Guess what? Everything isn’t going to go perfect. Everything isn’t going to go as planned. IT IS OKAY. You can still trust God. I am still going to put my faith in Him, because no matter what turns up, He doesn’t abandon us. He is with us. We want what He is calling us to be and do. And we’re following Him. Keep saying yes to what He has for you, even in the hard times when it doesn’t go like you thought it would and you wonder what He’s up to- HAVE FAITH. Nothing stops His purposes for you and in the end, He gets the glory, because He never fails. Rest easy knowing that this is not the end, it is a chance to strengthen your faith and hold on tighter to Him. His purposes prevail. (Prov. 19:21)
