Delicate digits, holding a small cactus, moved towards the male before holding the small plant in front of the other as a little 'sorry' gift for the missing glasses due to her being unable to find the said glasses, Aiko felt bad and wanted to give the cactus, hopefully the raven didn't dislike the little desert plant. "I apologize for the glasses.. I hope everything turned out okay."

His eyes were graced with an extra pair of spectacles, previously left at his hotel, which.. at the very least, allowed him to be able to watch her approach with reverent curiosity.         She was kind, he knew, for she had wanted to help him despite having no basis for it, but to even go as far as to apologize for something that she hadn’t even been blamed for.. . that was too much, wasn’t it?                  It was a tentative palm that extended to take the little plant, the beginnings of amusement  raising the edges of fairly youthful lips into a soft smile.                                   

           “Don’t worry, you couldn’t tell by looking at me, but..       I’m an athlete, so these get broken pretty often if I ever decide to wear them during practice.            You don’t have to apologize for Salim-san, though, I mean..    Ahaha.. I don’t even know if he really did it!”Mirth fell from a perpetually anxious chest in the form of quiet, unobtrusive laughter, medium pitches lowering slightly for the feat.      Bright tigerseye shifted downward, again, toward the gift, as he mused over where they would be able to put it so that their rambunctious poodle couldn’t get too curious.

                   “Do you grow these yourself?         It’s really pretty.”

Having so many international acquaintances, all of which were a bit eccentric in their own varied regard, the young athlete wracked his brain for a moment for a translation into his native tongue - - and immediately shook his head.        .. it didn’t even have to be something… unsavory, or at least, incredibly illegal, but he was not a man known to be at all stable in the face of either a lack of inhibitions, or even simulated drive - the pictures… it had just been wine, at the time, but those individuals who he had mercilessly crushed in half-naked dancing competitions…. their lives would never be the same.

                        “N-No!”

Palms raised, immediately, in both the universal sign of ‘STOP’,  though the young man’s head was lowered slightly in a vague apology.

                               “Have you ever tried anything… else, recreational?              Have you ever skated, before, maybe? Or even soccer?                               We could make tea, that’s herbal, too!”
