Instagram Is...

What is Instagram to you? This is the question explored in the documentary 'Instagram Is' by filmmaker Paul Tellefsen. To me it’s an app which inspires me to create stories and travel.

If you only thought the app was for taking pictures of food, selfies and painted nails — then this film is here to break that stereotype. I've learned that it is truly a social _NETWORK_. I was surprised how many people are networking through comments and finding friends to meet up with through the power of photography. You can use the app any way you want to, but from what I've seen on 'Instagram is', the people in it seem to be using it to its fullest potential. This 24 minute long film shows a completely new side of Instagram and has inspired me to shoot and share more often.
