Instagram wants to change to a Facebook-like algorithm that will rank and display photos in your feed by engagement, rather than putting them in chronological order like they've always been. This will have a detrimental effect on the Instagram community. On everyone from the average user to local businesses, where only the photos with most amount of likes will be seen. Therefore, there's a 24 hour BOYCOTT of Instagram, TODAY, Friday the 18th March 2016. Starting NOW. 😡😡😡 @Instagram is completely changing the way its app works and making it more like Facebook! So, instead of seeing whichever photo someone posted most recently at the top of your feed, you may see a photo that your best friend posted the night before.  "The order of photos and videos in your feed will be based on the likelihood you’ll be interested in the content, your relationship with the person posting and the timeliness of the post," Instagram says in its blog post on the news. #keepinstagramreal #keepinstagramchronological #instagramsilence #instagramblackout feel free to share!
