These “instruction pieces” by Yoko Ono allow consist of a collection of event scores rather than a physical work of art. These event scores are bits of text that include instructions for actions . The idea of the score was inspired the musical term. Like a musical score, event scores can be realized by artists other than the original creator and are open to variation and interpretation.
