There are other tutorials for this out there but I just wanted to have somewhere specific to point peoples of asked how I made my pins and I like to have things laid out in as simple a fashion as possible so here ya go

You will need;

- one bottlecap

- one can tab

- one safety pin

- pliers

- pokey thing (optional)

Instructions; (transcribed from captions)

Step 0 (optional, just lessens safety pin shifting)

Use something rigid (I have a pokey thing, I don't know it's actual name) to lift the middle of your can tab

Step 1

Open safety pin and put it through your can tab, open side out

Step 2 (this is a bit fiddly and may be difficult if you struggle with pain in your hands)

Bend in the edges of your bottlecap just enough to slip the can tab under

Step 3, final assembly

Place the can tab with pin under the edge of the bottletop and press edges flat

I goofed this a bit but it's an easy fix

With the can tab secured you can reposition the safety pin if necessary

The grooves in the edge of the bottlecap will keep it in place

I will make some more with different materials and accommodations in mind

But this is the basic method I'll be working from

As for decoration; go nuts fam

I've been painting mine but you can do whatever

Cover them with stickers, fabric or paper

Add rhinestones, glitter or sequins and make them 3d

Paint, permanent marker, resin

Do whatever you want forever

And don't worry if it's a little dodgy

Well I've got eyeball earrings, shark teeth earrings, a bird skeleton staff and a skull mask but you know what I don't have? A crown made of human teeth.

So I'm gonna remedy that.

Step 1: Steal someone's teeth. Maybe a few people's teeth

Step 2: Be incredibly funny

Step 3: Reverse dentistry. Give those bitches some cavities

I made eyeball earrings today

I've been wanting to make these since last halloween but I just didn't have the time or patience.

But I've made them now and it may have taken five hours but by every god that man has ever worshipped were they worth it

Beginning - I bought these shittily painted pingpong balls last October. This was when I had originally intended to make the earrings. I only ended up using one on my staff, Wackus Bonkus.

Anyway, I popped them open and carved some more pronounced veins, then removed the majority of the original eye with a nail file

I sketched out the iris and pupil size and painted a red ring around both irises. This was supposed to make them look a little more cohesive as they were to be very different colours

On the second and third coats, I added more detail to the irises, and went over the remaining white with a watered down red, which I dabbed off with a finger on the back half, and on the front it settled into the carved veins

Now this is the most time consuming part of it, and the reason I put this off for so long. I took some embroidery threads in deep red, bright red, navy blue and blue tinsel, cut them to about the height of my phone, and separated the strands.

I then laid out a piece of tape, stick side up and arranged my threads in a pleasing semi-random manner.
