“you made me what?” if lucy seems a bit shocked at the idea, that's only because... well, she is. somehow the idea that chris is able to conjure up chocolate on the surface is more surprising to her than the sudden wintry chill that blew in earlier. weather after a nuclear event is bound to be unpredictable, but hot chocolate? post-bombs? of course, she reaches out to accept the mug from him gratefully. “thank you, but...where did find chocolate? even in my vault, that was a luxury.”

lucy hesitates. her own safety is of course a concern, but that is not the only thing that occurs to her in this moment. she's grown a lot more wary of potentially dangerous situations, lately. “i don't want you to get hurt protecting me,” she says.
