things had changed, there was no denying it, whatever had happened at the fundraiser had changed the wizarding world. and evelyn didn’t understand why. sure it wasn’t the first time someone got food poising right? surely the hors d'oeuvres had given people stomach problems before. why was everyone reacting as if something sinister was at play? life still went on but everyone just seemed on edge. evelyn did what she could to maintain some normalcy.
lunch was uneventful, but evelyn still had some time left, so she decided to take a walk. maybe on her day off she could come back and do some shopping, she had been meaning to get some gifts for corona and walden, just because she felt like they had not spent enough time together. she was distracted but not enough to notice a sight she hadn’t seen in a while. ❝lupin?❞ evelyn said surprised, quickening her pace to catch up to her former classmate, ❝remus lupin taking a relaxing stroll❞ she said with a smile, ❝now i’ve truly seen it all...❞ evelyn joked.
