MBTI AESTHETIC: ESFP (13/16)
ESFPs are energetic and fun-loving individuals who live in the moment and relish the excitement and drama in their lives. They have a very well-developed sense for aesthetic beauty and are often the ones creating the trends. ESFPs are upbeat, enthusiastic, and genuinely like everyone they meet. As optimistic individuals who lives in the world of possibilities, negative possibilities can sometimes become overwhelming. Although typically characterized as spontaneous and lively, ESFPs are grounded in reality and are usually observant of others and their needs, offering to help them in any way they can.

She had wanted to tell Evelyn so many times, but had never found the right words. How do you tell your little sister, one of the people you love most in the world, that you had joined the Death Eaters? It wasn’t something that could be casually said and seeing her sister’s reaction told her she was right to have kept it for this long. This is what she had been trying to avoid, the fear Evelyn was now showing. “Please, Ev. Let me explain.” What explanation did she really have to offer, though? It didn’t matter, she needed to give her sister something. “Sit down, talk to me. Please.”
her instinct was to continue backing towards the door, she wanted to run, or better yet to turn back time and not have to see what she had just seen. not when her heart was racing, breaking, not her sister, why did it have to be her sister. but something in evelyn forced her to stay rooted in place, this was her sister, the most important person in her life, her role model, and she wanted to explain, evelyn owed her as much. the tears had started to run down her face, she had been unable to control that, but at least she stopped trying to bolt. evelyn angrily wiped the tears and tentatively started to walk closer to corona. ❝you are my sister, and i love you, and i trust-❞ the words got stuck in her throat, she shook hear head and sat down, bitting her lip to stop the tears.
coronamacnair;
Corona would recognize that head of blonde hair anywhere. She was glad Evelyn had reached out because she had news of her own she needed to tell her. “Why do you look so happy?” Corona asked with a smile as she reached the table. She leaned down and placed a kiss to her sister’s cheek, before moving to sit down across from her. “So, what is this big news you wanted to tell me?”
a sigh of relief escaped her lips, evelyn had not stopped fretting ever since sending that letter, but now her sister was here, and it was like being a little kid again, knowing that when corona was around no harm could come to evelyn. she could not be sure what her sister’s reaction would be, not after she- well it was best to put that memory behind. ❝i’m happy you are here❞ evelyn said sounding like that five year old chasing after her big sister, ❝sister, i’m engaged, i’m getting married!❞ she sort of squealed with happiness.

If Dirk didn’t have full trust in the cause he was promoting, he would have been far too embarrassed to be ignored in front of Evelyn, the woman who Dirk had fancied since they were first paired together in class. Dirk had managed to repress his feelings over the years, knowing that no matter how friendly they were, anything romantic was unlikely to happen. The MacNairs were a powerful pureblood family throughout the Wizarding Society and Dirk, in the eyes of many purebloods, came from nothing and would amount to nothing. Dirk’s stance straightened and a warm smile engulfed his features as Evelyn attempted to reassure him. “I doubt these leaflets will make it out of too many satchels,” He evaluated,“they are made to the ministry’s standard and I would much prefer something more radical.” Dirk didn’t think they were poignant enough to catch the public’s attention. “Sundays? I would love your company on Sundays…” Dirk smiled, feeling the heat rise up from his neck, beginning to get a little flustered at her suggestion.
Perhaps his feelings for Evelyn Macnair weren’t completely gone, that giddy feeling that third year Dirk began to get being around Evelyn had made a habit of returning during their recent encounters. He grinned sheepishly, watching as she placed her shopping bags into her purse with an extension charm. Her enthusiasm excited Dirk, it wasn’t often that somebody matched his passion and it was refreshing. Instead of rolling her eyes or falling into a daze as Dirk spoke, Evelyn actually cared and wanted to help.. “Evelyn, you are amazing.” Dirk expressed, grateful for her support. His heart dropped into his stomach at her next suggestion, the offer of a drink or a bite. Dirk nodded his head, perhaps too eager. “I would love to catch a drink…-er bite…” He stumbled, raising his hand up to rub at the back of his neck. “That would be lovely, yes.” Dirk smiled, composed.
❝more radical?❞ evelyn asked tilting her head to the side, she had spent years pinning after dirk, and after that one term where she basically threw herself at him resulting on being ignored, she made her peace with the fact that he probably only liked her as a friend -it’s better than nothing, she had admitted to remus during one of their study sessions, she could live with being friends. but every time she heard him talk about his cause, something in her shifted, maybe it was the passion, the look on his eyes, but evelyn could not help but feel fifteen again fluttering her eyelashes at him while they crushed potions ingredients. ❝great, just let me know time and place❞ she smiled, and truly hoped they could get something done, nothing would make her happier than helping dirk with his cause.
❝you are the one that’s amazing, honestly this issue has existed for...❞ she blew air out of her mouth, ❝and yet no one has tried anything remotely close to what you are doing, i’m glad i can help even if it’s just handing out pamphlets❞ evelyn let out a small a laugh. ❝awesome! marlene recommended me a couple of cool places, maybe we can check one out, you remember mckinnon right?❞ evelyn asked trying not to dwell on the fact that she had just about asked dirk out -as friends, a voice that sounded very much like remus reminded her of that. ❝so what do you need me to do?❞
pxtterjames;
“Oh well it’s just speculation at this point.” James replied as he caught sight of the concern in her eyes at the thought of it being done deliberately; he’d heard it was something in the champagne but how much truth it held he couldn’t be certain (though he wouldn’t be entirely surprise), and he saw no point in causing an unnecessary panic. “Well they’re bound to be angry, it’s not something anyone expected to happen, I’m sure that things will calm down when the initial shock has worn off,” he added, hoping his words might offer a bit of comfort because he could imagine things were stressful in her department at the moment. He offered her a grateful smile as she mentioned Lily, nodding as she told him to let her know if there was anything she could do, “At the moment I think we’re all just glad it didn’t turn out worse. I haven’t had any time off, I’ve wanted to keep busy and when I haven’t been at work I’ve been at the hospital but honestly I think I’m starting to get in the healer’s way a bit.”
evelyn nodded at james’ words, ❝i’m just hoping the ministry feels the pressure and actually starts an investigation, everyone seems awfully calm for the chaos that we lived through...❞ she bit her lip. politics were never where she wanted to be, but she had not been strong enough to defy her parents and go for the hit-witch training. ❝keeping busy was probably a good idea, don’t let the thoughts take over❞ she shrugged. ❝they should be used to it, you know loved ones hovering a little too much❞ she teased. ❝so i- uh i saw remus the other day, he said you guys were looking for a place, for the four of you, i just thought that was so cool. but i gotta admit i was surprised i thought you and lily were heading in the moving in together direction❞ she wiggled her eyebrows.
werewolfboi;
“I think cleaning blood off another person creates an unbreakable bond between them,” Remus told her with a laugh, “You never have to worry about me not liking you any more, even if we went years without seeing each other for some reason. We should not let that happen, however. I will have to make more effort to see you.” He truly meant it, when he said the time between meetings would not change their friendship for him. Remus was loyal to the extreme. Once a friend, a friend for life. “I was only there one night,” he said with a shake of the head. Half a night, but admitting his jailbreak was pointless so long after the fact. “Nobody had time to visit me while I was there and the whole night was such chaos that it is understandable not checking in. Sometimes time just goes and before you know it a day has turned into a week. I am sure things are busy at work for you at the moment?” He knew she hadn’t gone onto be a Hit Witch, that she had a desk job instead, but it was still within the Ministry and he was interested in whether the event had affected all departments, not just the DMLE.
“They wouldn’t let you?” Remus asked, surprise tinting his voice. His parents had been worried about the idea of him moving out but they had still been glad he was flying the nest for his own sake and because it meant he would no longer be dependent on them. Especially after seven years of Hogwarts, it had been fairly easy to think about saying goodbye. “I’m looking with the boys, for somewhere for the four of us, so we probably have enough opinions confusing the search already but I’ll let you know if we need someone to have a casting vote when we inevitably disagree about where to go. And you will have to come and visit when we find somewhere.”
evelyn let out a laugh, a lot of people said that hogwarts was their best years, and evelyn had always wondered how could they say that if they had a lifetime ahead of them, but when she thought back to the nights spend laughing with remus at their latest failed spell, or the potion that just blew in their faces, she could see why people loved their school years. she wouldn’t change one bit, except perhaps caring less about what people thought and said about her, because if she hadn’t then perhaps she could’ve been even happier. ❝i’m holding you to that promise. you better believe i want you at my wedding and as part of my future children lives, you are going to be godfather to one of them❞ she said half a joke half seriousness, ❝and then we get to become gray-haired and think back about the rules we broke while attempting to be the perfect students...❞ she let out a laugh. ❝yeah it- it was chaos, i hardly remember what happened just everyone started screaming...❞ she said shaking her head, ❝i was drinking that champagne, if marlene hadn’t suggested we had something stronger... i’m glad you are okay❞ evelyn stopped herself, the last thing remus needed was for her to make about herself. ❝oh you have no idea! it’s a big mess! there were foreign wizards and witches at the fundraiser who got sick, their governments are furious, hopefully now the ministry will look into what actually happened, no one is giving a straight answer.❞
❝they said it many times, i won’t be leaving home until i do it to start a home, you know a family of my own❞ evelyn rolled her eyes, if her parents still believed they were going to marry her off to a pureblood eligible bachelor they were in for a surprise, ❝but i’m earning my own money now, so i will find a way to leave soon❞ she said with a mischievous smile. ❝oh remus that’s so cool! wow you guys are super close, i’m jealous!❞ she teased, ❝but you better get it in your head that i am going to twist you guys’ arms until you agree to a housewarming party once you are settled in...❞

As the people passed Dirk by, he tried not to let it dampen his spirits. He was used to people turning an eye to his fundraisers. It was ever since Dirk had begun his research into the Goblin Rebellion that he begun to empathise for the creatures. Soon his passions increased and he began to hear wind of activists rallying for better goblin rights. Activism was in his blood, he was raised with ideals to fight for the underdog and it had always been an aspiration to fill his fathers shoes. Upon discovering the goblins, Dirk had discovered his passion and cause. His summers became filled with learning gobbledegook and attending rallies of a similar nature until he got a hang for it. Now, with a job as a goblin Liaison officer he could help his fellow goblins from a ministerial position. At least, that was what Dirk had hoped for but with all the civilians currently passing him by. Dirk had to face that people did not care for the creatures as he did.
Hearing a familiar voice, Dirk grinned fondly. “Evelyn,” He greeted, a warm smile on his features as she took his clipboard from him. He could always count on Evelyn to help and although they had a different upbringings. “It’s alright…people just are busy…perhaps if it was a Sunday they would stop?” The blonde had always been kind to him and for that Dirk was grateful. After all, the MacNairs weren’t always kind to muggleborns. “Help? I’d love some help.” He nodded before glancing up the street, “as long as I wouldn’t be holding you back?”
evelyn felt her heart sink at dirk’s words. he cared so much about his cause and people just didn’t, and she wanted nothing more than grab every single person by the shoulders and shake them to get them to sign the petition. ❝yes, totally, that’s- they are busy❞ she smiled at him trying to sound reassuring, ❝hey i’m free on sundays, if you want the company i could help out, just tell me when and where and i’ll be there❞ she offered, not giving it much thought, if she could do even a little bit for him, she would. so maybe her crush on him had never really went away. she was certain that after failing to get him to notice her she had gotten used to the idea that she was never going to have a chance with him. dirk was kind, and smart, and talked to her as if she mattered, not caring about her last name, or what she could do for him.
❝not at all!❞ evelyn said, perhaps a little bit too much enthusiastic, ❝i was already done with errands❞ she said lifting her shopping bags, ❝i’ll just take care of this❞ she took out her wand and with a flourish got all the shopping bags into her purse, while the purse was small it was enchanted with and extension charm, memories of practicing the spell with remus flooded her mind, they always pushed each other to do better, she smiled at the thought of her best friend watching her take part of rally for dirk. ❝now my pamphlet handing hands are free❞ she said with a smile, ❝you know maybe after we are done we could uh- go for a drink ... or grab a bite❞ she said looking at the clipboard to hide the blush creeping up on her, had she just asked him out?
Location: Corona’s Apartment; London
Date: Summer 1979
Corona hadn’t been expecting visitors when she removed the concealing charm from her wrist. She certainly hadn’t expected her sister to burst through the door to her apartment. She hadn’t time to put the charm back on and though her sister might not have noticed at first, Evelyn certainly would have when Corona’s wide eyes darted down to her own wrist. The wrist that bared a tattoo or marking of a snake and a skull. The marking of a Death Eater.
@evelynmacnair
she had finally done it, evelyn had saved up enough of her own money to get an apartment. she had been casually bringing it up at home to gauge the reaction of her parents when it finally happened, so of course she needed her sister there with her by her side, when she made the definite announcement. evelyn had rushed to corona’s apartment, the security measures letting her through easily, she threw the door open while happily saying, ❝i did it! the apartment i-❞ she stopped in her tracks, ❝corona, is that-❞ evelyn said with a voice full of worry unable to stop looking at the mark on her sister’s arm. ❝please tell me you are not -❞ she couldn’t even bring herself to think about it, not when him and his followers wanted people like the love of her life erradicated, ❝not you❞ evelyn said starting to back away.
early 1980 wizarding mayfair, london (( @coronamacnair ))
evelyn wasn’t sure if her sister was going to show up. she had sent a letter asking her to meet for lunch. when dirk asked her to get married there was one person evelyn wanted to tell first. with everything going on around them and between them, evelyn worried her sister wasn’t going to show. which would be devastating for evelyn, her sister was her world, the person she looked up to, and even after finding out what her sister was up to, evelyn had tried. she was currently glancing back towards the door, wondering why she had not chosen the seat that faced the door, hoping to see her sister walk in.

4. How easy is it to anger your muse?
Evelyn gets angry at herself, but with others it usually takes a lot to make her lose her temper, and when she does she let’s you know it.
3. What is your muse’s biggest fear?
That if she keeps doing what she’s told, she will never be truly happy.
8. Does your muse tend to bottle things up?
Some things she bottles up, other she blurts out. She is lucky to have a sister that is always willing to listen and give advice, so when Evelyn is feeling overwhelmed all she has to do is run to her big sister.
1. Is your muse afraid of death?
While Evelyn believes in the after life, and that those that die are never really gone as long as there’s someone who remembers them, she is afraid of what she would be leaving behind.
14. What was the most traumatic moment in your muse’s life?
Evelyn has lived a very sheltered life so the most traumatic moment of her life hasn’t happened yet.
