Hara stared blankly at the stranger across the round coffee table, the uttered words taking a moment to register in her mind before she blinked once, twice, the tip of her tongue drawing over her upper lip before mumbling. “… excuse me?”
Amidst the crowded coffee shop, they were forced to sit together at one table. Hara didn’t really mind, and was initially planning to keep to herself and perhaps finish chapter 26 of her book, but after an awkward bumping of knees and faintly veiled smiles behind the steam of their hot beverages, they quietly exchanged names over the bustle of the coffee shop, and a simple conversation began from there.
Her name was Dusk Lévesque, and she was currently an unemployed student at SNU, and Hara had a slight urge to tell her that she resembled Hyeri of Girl’s Day, but held her tongue instead. It was gratifying, in a sense, to meet someone who didn’t know of her as an idol but rather treated her as a normal human being without any simpering or compliments tumbling from her lips every few minutes or so. Introducing herself as an idol in the industry for seven years now, Hara went on to explain briefly about KARA’s history, as well as letting the girl know about her slight struggles with accepting Youngji, the new member, as a part of KARA.
To her surprise, the girl had bluntly replied with, “Your problems are not of my concern.” after she had finished, and Hara sat slightly stunned, fingertips beginning to feel a slight burn from the heat radiating off the ceramic mug. While she understood that not everyone cared about her discomfort with having to deal with a new member, most people would at least put on a façade of caring or pretending as if they understood. As the girl glanced at the illuminated screen of her phone and got up, slinging a bag over her shoulder and with a quick smile flashed in her direction, left the coffee shop, Hara stayed in her seat, the burn of her fingers melting into a dull pain as she marvelled over the stranger she had just met; how similar she looked to one of her fellow idols but how widely different she was than anyone else she had ever met.

Tongue: What was in your last meal?
"My last meal? Mm ..." Always having been a little on the absent-minded side, Hara never really paid too much attention to what she ate (unless it was actually really delicious or if something significant had happened during the meal), and she drew her eyebrows together in an attempt to try to think of what she ate. Pursing her lips slightly, she drew her tongue out over her bottom lip in thought before blurting the first thing that came to mind (and hopefully was actually what she ate). "Caesar salad with chicken breast, light dressing."
Stomach: Do you feel confident in your body image?

Lungs: Do you smoke cigarettes?
Drawing her eyebrows together (once again; it had become a bit of a habit she had picked up from someone close to her) before allowing her forehead to relax, fingers tapping gently against her bottom lip instead. "I don't smoke myself. And I usually don't really tolerate it either ... but for some people I'm willing to tolerate it."
Heart: Are you in love? If so, does the one you love know?

Cheeks: Do you blush easily?
Her hands flew up immediately to cup her cheeks, blinking slightly at the asker of the question. "Do I? Ah ... I guess it really depends on what kind of occasion it is, mm? But, mm ... I'd say it's pretty easy to make me blush."
Chest: Are your maternal/parental instincts strong?
She smiled faintly, the thought of having kids in the future flitting through her mind. As the godmother of one of her closest friend's unborn child and very fond of children to begin with, she'd say that she had a pretty strong maternal instinct, and bobbed her head in a nod as a response to the question.
Stomach: Do you feel confident in your body image?
Pursing her lips slightly, Hara glanced down briefly, stretching her legs out in front of her and rotating her ankles slightly. Some mornings she'd wake up and she'd be satisfied in her image; after all, not everyone could boast a tiny 21-inch waist and still be fit and healthy. Other mornings, she'd stand in front of the mirror, hands rested at the barely-there curves of her waist and wished she had a bit more hip or a bit more bust, or perhaps she'd look better if her legs were longer. However, over all she was pretty satisfied with her body image, so she nodded her head once again, the thumb of her right hand raising in approval.

Hair: What hair color looks best on you and what's your natural color?
She purses her lips in thought-- it really depended on what kind of style she was going for; sexy? Cute? Elegant? Unsure of how to answer the question, she decided to go with what she thought fit best with all concepts. "Ah ... my natural color's black, of course, but, mm ... in general, I think the red or dark brown suited me well."
Eyes: What is your favorite show to watch?
A faint smile tugged slightly at her lips-- there were shows she'd never admit to having a guilty pleasure for but she answered to the best of her ability, careful not to give away too much. "Tune in to MBC Music every Tuesday at 6pm for KARA Project!"
Nose: What is your favorite perfume/candle fragrance?
As someone who wasn't too concerned with fragrances and all (as long as she didn't smell of body odor or sweat, she was fine), Hara didn't really bother with keeping up with the newest scents and perfume lines lines, but she did enjoy keeping a few candles around the house and lighting them every now and then. "Mm? Probably scents like rosewater and green apple ... that kind of stuff. I'm not picky, as long as it's not overwhelming to the point where I feel like I'm going to sneeze."
Heart: Are you in love? If so, does the one you love know?
A warm hue painted itself across her cheeks as the question came up, a hand rising to sift her fingers gently through her dark locks as she struggled put her thoughts into words, opting to speak truthfully anyways. Her voice is low and murmured, as if it were taboo to speak of such a topic-- and in a way, it was, but this was, after all, not a public interview, so she spoke freely. "I am not only in love, I am constantly falling in love. If he doesn't know of this fact after seven and a half months, ah-- he must be a fool." She chuckled faintly to herself, eyes lowering to her lap and choosing not to disclose any more information on her relationship status.
Fingers: Do you play an instrument?
"I kind of wish I did-- I played the drums for one concert and I know a bit of piano, but I don't really specialize in any instrument, no."

Glancing down at her own outfit, then back up at the male's, Hara tried to stifle her laughter behind a loose fist – it was easy to see why he had confused her attire with his own. She leaned in slightly, a hand resting on the model's shoulder before whispering dramatically in an exaggerated whisper, fingers plucking gently (not hard enough to stretch the fabric, of course) at the plain white v-neck as she spoke. "Oppa, just 'cause we're both wearing plain white tees, black skinnies and combat boots ... doesn't mean I'm wearing your clothes."
"Hate to break it to you.. but Hakyeon is dead."

Her initial response was to burst out in laughter at the preposterous message she had just received from her friend, shaking her head slowly before tilting the screen to show her companion, coincidentally the ‘Hakyeon’ in question, and they doubled in laughter at Joon’s poor attempt of a joke. Wiping at her tears with her sleeve, she continued chuckling, motioning for her friend to lean in to take a selca with her before attaching it to a Kakao message, shoulders shaking in amusement as she pressed ‘send’.

Wailing quietly and leaning forward to drop her head into her hands, controller still trapped between the fingers of her left hand, Hara slumps forward, whining childishly as the screen once again displayed a flashing 'PLAYER TWO WINS'. Beside her, Ailee is the exact opposite image of her: while the controller is still in her hands as well, her back is straight, shoulders thrown back and arms in the air, the cry from her lips a triumphant one rather than one of misery. Being the sore loser she was, Hara elbowed her friend in the ribs, a low grumble drawing from her lips. "Rematch, I don't care if this is the fourth game."
