closer starter for @intcgrities location: sullivan memorial park
despite not being able to adhere to his normal practice routine, anthony still went out on runs every morning. he had an alarm set to wake up early, but he was always woken up by the sound of sabrina downstairs in the bakery at four in the morning. he didn't mind it too much, the sounds and smells of the bakery-- it made it easier for him to get up. so he could be the first to taste whatever his oldest sister was baking for the day before he took off on his runs.
running the loop at sullivan was something that anthony had thought was in the past. a memory from high school conditioning or extra practice when he needed to push himself to be faster or improve his stamina. he doesn't expect the run to be so worked into his bones, muscle memory taking over the second he steps foot on the concrete to start his run.
today, though, he hadn't gotten out of bed as early as he'd hoped. sabrina had already opened the bakery, and the sun was well into the sky when he finally graced the loop. maybe that's why he comes across a familiar blonde along the trail when he usually doesn't see anyone on his runs (which he really, really enjoys).
once he's close enough, he slows to a mild jog beside justice. "hey," he starts, hoping that he doesn't scare them by coming up behind them, "quick question for you. have you heard any... rumors about me?"
