Tho long, Thursday

I didn't get a pic of roadkill after all because after work, there were highway speeds and storm and then highway speeds during a storm.  I think I drove through a not-well-organized tornado on I-275 about 6 o'clock.  That was kinda scary.

My head has hurt ALL DAY.  A cumulative total for the day of 7 ibuprofen, a Goody's powder, 7 aspirin, 45 ounces of Mtn. Dew, food, and a hot shower and lying down haven't helped.

It feels like my head would feel better if I laid here and cried.  I dunno why.

B tells me tonight that her daddy told her he still loves me very much.  Which didn't help the headache or the needing to cry feeling at all.

I have to get up in the morning and go to Sam's, then the liquor store and the chemical plant for dry ice.  Then I need to make a large chafer full of banana pudding (about 2 gallons worth) and another large chafer full of apple cobbler.  Then pack up the tent and the coolers and the clothing and sunscreen and the hand sanitizer and the beer and the booze and go to the mountains, where we will lie in the grass, and wander around, listen to questionable bands, drink a little or a lot, look at all the tattoos wandering by, and for 2 days act like I don't have any responsibilities.

I can't live like that all the time but 3-4 times a year does me some good.
