Humanity is starving, but not for physical nourishment. It is starving for purpose. Deprived of this deeper stimulation, we turn upon one another. Instead of building the foundations for each of us to thrive, we cannibalize each other emotionally—draining energy, validation, and worth from those around us in a futile attempt to fill the void inside. But the void cannot be filled this way. What we take from others passes into the emptiness and quickly dissipates, leaving only a fleeting sense of fulfillment. This momentary relief becomes addictive, driving us to repeat the cycle again and again. Yet only true purpose—discovered and pursued—can nourish the void, sustain the spirit, and begin to diminish its existence. Still, we seek the shallow comfort of consuming one another. And so we remain empty, drained, further from the truth of what could have made us whole. The cycle will not end until we find the uniting purpose that can forge our evolution and pave the way toward a more prosperous future.
