Dr.Derma Solution Barrierderm Intensive Cream worked wonders on my dry skin The scent is inviting. it's a blend of rosemary and lavender. It's calming and soothing to the skin. The cream is thick but doesn't leave you feeling greasy or sticky. It does give your skin long-lasting hydration. I used it on my elbows and I have noticed a great difference in a few short days. I've also used it on a few other dry spots that I have as well. It absorbs fairly quickly. It may take time if your skin is completely dry. I found it works best if you apply the cream after showering. This way it helps lock in the moisture. It does leave a layer on the skin nothing too heavy but you do know it's there. I liked that it penetrates the skin yet still offers a layer of protection. I found that using a dime to a quarter size amount works to fit my needs. The cream didn't leave a white cast to my skin or leave it feeling chalky or tacky either. I'm very happy with it.
