Before. (I bought the 3 plastic boxes at center after pondering the best way to use the closet floor.) My shoes were where I wanted the laundry hampers. I had fabric bags full o'dance stuff piled where shoes could go, and wanted them under my costumes further back. "After." Shoe boxes lined up neatly under my clothing racks, space to hold all 4 laundry bins. Only bought 4 plastic boxes, wanted to see how it would go before buying more. Would be prettier with color-coded boxes, but I am frugal.
