Dev Update: Interactable Objects
Today we present you a selction of interactable objects that we worked on last week. (Okay, friday we had a short break because of a fire alarm due to too much cooking in the kitchen, but that is just normal crazyness. Did you know you can't stop the fire department from sending their army of firemen after the alarm is activated?)
Object: Destructible Barrier/Barricade - This object serves a breakable obstacle in the levels. To break it you can either shoot at or dash against it.
Object: Indestructible Cover - It’s a shielding force field, currently at iteration one: always blocks shots, never characters. More elaborated version yet to come: ignores the shots of characters that are touching it (aka you can shoot from WITHIN the field!).
Object: Destructible and Indestructible Grating/Blockers - Both metal and wooden grating serve as gameplay obstacles. Note: metal grating is indestructible, wooden grating can be destroyed by force (for example by slams/explosions).
