if only he could rout out the holdouts in spikemuth... there was no future there, not for the gym challenge. but it would be bad publicity to just drop the gym from the line up, and piers had enough friends among the other leaders that it wouldn't be feasible.

but eventually, the crunch will get to them. without the ability to dynamax there, there was no interest from advertisers. It was the sad reality, even with piers' showmanship.

the isle of armor was a better choice for a proper gym. the two leaders there were rough, but had potential.
