      It’s not that hard for Christian to find Bobby, he’s nearby on the shores edge of Krakoa, sitting on an ice rock, a small picnic basket & blanket resting at his feet. Bobby’s putting the finishing touches on a few presents for his close friends. Nothing as detailed as he’d left for Christian to find, just carefully preserving the flowers & frosting them & giving them a small yellow ribbon or string to signify friendship. It had probably taken him a little longer than he’d admit at picking the flowers, specifically for their meaning. 

      Once finish, Bobby looks up, his translucent icy eyes widening with mirth the second he sees Christian. Handing the flowers off to his golem for delivery, he stands up, his ice armor slowly melting away as he grins widely at the other mutant. “ Good Morning.”

      The other’s response made him realize a few things. Well one he already knew. Which is that Christian is a wonder, without a doubt, & he really wants to kiss him. The other is that he’s a moron. He’d been so full of nerves that he’d let the joke just pop out, without thinking it through. It had been a puzzle but he hadn’t meant that. “ Sorry, I won’t say something like that again, even as a joke.” There’s a strong chance he’s mentally kicking himself in his own ice at that very moment. Bobby gives him a sheepish smile before shifting onto his side, pressing his forehead against his lovers shoulder. “ It actually sounded worse than what I was trying to convey. Give me a minute & I’ll try again.”

ㅤㅤBobby's practically vibrating on nerves, he'd spent a lot of time positioning the pillows & eyeing everything on the deck to make sure it was just how he wanted it, he almost hadn't realized the time. Chri is definitely up & definitely already found the first card by now. If not more.

ㅤㅤGlancing over his shoulder to eye the door, he quickly beelines towards to side of the ship, jumping over the side before icing up. He tries to be sneaky but it's so hard to gage. Making ice platforms attached to the side of the ship isn't entirely a silent endeavor.

ㅤㅤLuckily for Bobby, he still has time. It was nerve wracking, just to wait patiently & listen for his boyfriend to come out & find the last box. He ends up waiting with his icy legs swinging to & fro as he checks his phone before he forces himself pulls the screen from his line of sight.

ㅤㅤCourse, hearing Chri move out on the deck doesn't help his nerves calm, he thinks he's doing alright considering he's not one to sit still. Silently listen for a reaction, he almost misses the low buzzing of his phone. Lifting it up, Bobby answers in record time. "Hey...." ㅤㅤAfter hearing his partner's reaction he quickly gets up & ice slide his way onto the deck of the ship. His ice fading away the moment his feet touch the wood as he walks over to the other. He gently wipes away his tears before pressing his forward against the other's forehead. "Sorry."
