Peter slowly pushed open the door to his apartment, being careful to do so quietly. Despite having lived in Storybrooke for a while now, he couldn't quite get used to how still everything was compared to the city he grew up in. It was a simple observation, rather than a complaint. Having been through a chaotic childhood, the slowness of the quaint town was a nice change of pace.
After carefully pulling his keys from the door, Peter peered over his shoulder to find Felix across from him. "What are you still doing up?" he asked the blond. It was rather late and Peter had almost expected his roommate--and best friend--to be asleep. Nevertheless, Felix's presence was always a pleasant surprise. Peter faintly smiled to himself as he couldn't quite imagine where he would be without him by his side. In fact, Felix was the only thing in life that ever made sense to him. He was lucky, to say the least.
“I have leftovers from Granny’s if you’re hungry,” Peter kindly offered as he placed a carry out box into their fridge. Their apartment wasn't much, but it was home. After finally settling in, Peter took a better look at Felix and could sense that something was off. "Is everything okay?" he asked casually.
