FTF → Jimmy & Sawyer.
Sawyer was tipsy -- okay, she was actually pretty drunk. Halloween was not her thing at all and despite her constant back and forth mindset about going to Layla’s party, she couldn’t bring herself to do it. Sawyer had way too much pride to go to something that she had just spent the last two weeks talking badly about -- even if there was going to be free booze there.
So, Sawyer spent the night exactly like she had planned -- with a bottle (or two) of wine and was about to head to bed when she got the tiniest twinge of regret. Maybe she should go to the party. It wasn’t like Sawyer to miss out on anything remotely party related and perhaps it was the wine but Sawyer didn’t really want to miss out. “Fuck it,” she muttered, half mad but half pleased at her decision. She stumbled to get her coat and threw it over her shoulders before she could change her mind. There was no fucking way that she’d even consider a costume, not at this hour and certainly not in her drunk state.
The walk to anywhere in Cotton Plant wasn’t long and Sawyer knew the place like the back of her hand so getting there really wasn’t that hard. What did surprise her though was the distinctive figure leaning up against Layla’s front fence. A wide grin broke out on her face as she sped up her pace a little, breaking out into a little skip. “Yo Jim!!” she called out to them, her voice excitable and loud as she managed to make out their face in the dim lighting.
