“Ok girl, we are not skipping vegan day this week! I’ve already got all the stuff, we have no excuse!” Maia called as she walked past Simone, after the brunette had opened the door for her, and headed towards her neighbor’s kitchen. Maia knew Simone was struggling with her plant based diet and long ago they’d agreed to have at least one vegan meal together a week. It was a struggle for Maia as well, but she was nothing if not determined.
Placing the two bags of groceries she had brought with her on the counter in Simone’s kitchen, she turned around to look at the female. “Okay, so how do grilled asparagus and shitake tacos sound?” she asked, grinning at her friend.
