“they’re not necessarily a weapon,” suki explained, as she showed steve the golden fans. “they can be used as projectiles, but we mostly use them defensively. to turn an opponent’s energy against them.” she gracefully moved her arm, extending it out to full length before opening the fan and then quickly flicking her wrist to close it again and recoiling her arm back in. “they’re an extension of my body. very different to a gun.”
