Having Jo living here in New York after all these years of long distance friendship since they did their residence together in California, was just something that made Robbie so happy. Back then, he was a baby gay and she was going through some discoveries of her own right before having Jake plus, the torture and craziness of suffering the residence had made them thick as thieves. Even after Robbie moving back to New York, they kept in touch and stayed close, him flying in to visit her from time to time and her stopping by whenever she visited her family upstate.
But now they get to do this, bring their kids to the park together. His kid being Millie, his beagle obviously. "You know that I'll be happy to have Jake whenever you want, right? Not as a favor to you but to me." He said as he watched Jake play with Millie and his own dog. Robbie loved that kid, he was his nephew for all intents and purposes.
