He felt eyes on him the entire time that he was staring at his phone and, though this wasn’t entirely a new occurrence, it was certainly made more awkward by the fact that it seemed to be coming from the person less than a full foot away from him. It didn’t help that his usual tactic of staring at his phone until they gave up wasn’t exactly working. Putting his phone away, he turned to face them with a smile, “Is there something I can help you with?”

There was nothing guaranteed to pull a smile from him quite like the sight of his favorite person. Taking deliberate steps towards the blonde, ensuring the crunching of the snow would give away his approach, Travers simply waited until she turned to face him. “Well if it isn’t Miss Down Undah,” he exclaimed, his trained American accent taking on a mockery of her terrible Australian one from their last meeting. “I see that you were able to find your way around the city after all. I would assume all the lights and foot traffic heading this way helped.”

There was nothing quite as entertaining as watching people start doing something with unbridled joy and, then slowly watching as that same joy devolved into utter rage and disappointment as they failed. It was usually far more entertaining to watch on the adults, but the children offered some rather humorous takes on the journey as well. It hadn’t been his intention to partake, but once the materials were placed before him, Travers figured there was no harm in a little fiddling. “I don’t suppose they’ll also be providing the blueprints to these gingerbread houses?” he mused.

“Pardon my curiosity,” he began as he turned to face the woman, “But what exactly is the draw of a snowball fight as a spectator?” Travers was personally looking forward to watching powerless people pelting each other in the face and those that merely flailed around as they made an attempt to do the same, but that wasn’t something he could admit to. “Oh, unless you have kiddo in there, I suppose,” he chuckled.
