SIMPLE ACTS OF ROMANTICISM
This was something Hythlodaeus knew of Violet by now: she did not like the rain. It brought down her mood pretty heavily, especially if it went on all day, it was a day wasted in her eyes, with her mind only filling of memories of her old life; when she once lived in a place where it rained often. Not good memories in the slightest.
Mulling about in her room as she stared out the window, blanket over her shoulders & her mind in a fury, yet she was as stiff as a board. She might as well have not of been there at all for how little she moved or there serious lack of sound she made. All there was to hear was the tacking of the rain against the window...
... & a knock at the door.
That knock finally pulled her attention to something other then whatever was going on in her head. Blanket still clinging to her shoulders, she shuffled her way to the door, unlocking & turning the knob to open it, being greeted with a familiar sight.
“Hyth?” The superhuman was surprised to see him for sure, but he was still a welcome sight all the same. The Warrior of Light seemed worried for her by his expression, & was carrying something in his hands, something she couldn’t quite see giving it was neatly wrapped up to preserve it’s contents, but could at least identify it by smell: food.
“...” Violet managed a smile. Even if Hythlodaeus didn’t explain at all, he didn’t really need to, as it was obvious what the man had done & his intent. “Do you want to come in? We’re obviously not going anywhere today, & you know I love your company.”
