Today marks the beginning of Interactivos? Obsolete Technologies of the Future in Ljubljana.  For the next 10 days I will be prototyping, building, programming, partying, eating, drinking, collaborating, and broadcasting.  Basically, everything but sleeping.  I will try to keep regular updates coming but in the meanwhile you can check out the project blog at heartheair.tumblr.com.  Wish me luck!

Cocook in Interactivos?'12 Dublin - Hack the city

Cocook has been selected to take part in Interactivos?'12 Dublin: Hack the City. Current and Future Needs, to be held at Science Gallery (Dublin) from July 11 to 26, 2012.  Claudia Sánchez and Íñigo Cornago will carry out the project "Cocook Dublin Workshop". The project consists in a collaborative workshop open to Dublin citizens. In it, participants will develop several portable kitchen prototypes for communal use in the public space, get knowledge about the fields involved in the process and promote the meeting and collaboration between existing local networks.

The development of the workshop follows the same idea as cocook and takes place in the public space. It requires a basecamp where the activities proposed are held. The aim is to give citizens the tools to repeat the experience by themselves as long as they enjoy it.

The open call for collaborators is open till 5th July, but " Although the call for collaborators will remain open until July 5, 2012, Science Gallery and Medialab Prado will only be able to arrange accommodation for participants that sign up before June 22." So hurry up!
