A quote I saw that I love and truly want to embody without bypassing is something to the degree of "If your work isn't intersectional, it's not really empowerment." This inquiry is imperative for us all, and especially for those who throw around the word empowerment. I have definitely been guilty of that in the past and I am working honestly at broadening my own work to a vision of not only empowering women with privilege, but ALL women. I'm so grateful I took a step back so that I can reflect on this and so that each step I take forward is consciously working toward this greater mission...
