i think my issue is that all of my little stupid writing projects (IAD, JBWTATU, etc) were always meant to be read as audiobooks. i intentionally structure them like they're being read like speeches or audiobooks because i know that's how i would read em

and why am i making motifs for the characters in it

mind if i yap about IAD (under cut so you have freedom of choice)

k i dunno how i never mentioned this before but IAD features my object characters spanning 2 different worlds. it was originally intended to be like a hiveswap situation but i determined that it's funnier if it's just one of them on a ship and nothing else

there are two worlds i'll feature here and i can only drop 1 by name (other is confidential) so we have dimensional agents!!! and the travel au

there are 2 POVs of this story (so far) and they are rowan and jo. i'm gonna start with rowan

candle jar (legal name rowan mitchell) is a main character of the travel au and he's a key part to the travel au as he's a channel runner in the show. the whole concept of the travel au is it's just kind of a youtube travel vlog with objects so you can see why now. anyway he's a college student and he accidentally got onto the ship with the cargo. he has a sister. this is mentioned once and never again. also the other channel runner is named sofia and he's the whole reason he started helping vlogging in the first place so he's worried about her and misses her a lot

now joystick (legal name jo(anne) becker (don't call them joanne they will eject you)) is the captain of the starry doubloon and a main part of the dimensional agents!!! in DA!!! basically jo and their crew help solve time paradoxes and whatnot across the multiverse hopping timelines and dimensions, hence the name. in IAD they hold cargo and take them to certain dimensions because uhhhhh how else was i gonna get rowan on the ship. their second command, jess, is very useful and the first ever person they got to go on a recruit mission to get. once jo got their own ship after 10 years of service they immediately asked for jess to be on the crew. are they dating? hell if i know
