Collapse - [ Steven & Archer ]
It was one thing to explore a cave. It was entirely another to have a part of it, near the entrance, collapse due to a low-magnitude quake. He definetly did not expect it, nor did the local Pokémon. A reckless trainer or angry Pokémon was probably the cause, but in the end, it didn't matter what caused it.
At least he was safe, as well as the wild Pokémon he had managed to herd out of the cave in time. He'd help them remake the opening later so they could go back home but, in the meantime, he really wanted a small break. He felt tired and ragged from the whole rush of the event, having to utilize Chromium and Titanium's strength to hold off the collapse long enough to get everyone in the danger zone out of there, as well as his own. At least he had not been wearing his suit, or he'd probably have to remake large parts of it. His more hiker-like clothes, however, were a bit tattered from the ordeal.
"We should probably just get something nice to eat after this..." He grumbled quietly to his Aggron, who huffed as he lay next to his trainer. Titanium merely twirled in agreement, then continued to count (or re-count, Steven wasn't sure of what the steel-type was actually doing) the wild Pokémon. Most were geodude, zubat, and a few other cave-dwelling critters from Johto. The bears he could recognize as 'Teddiursa', and the other yellow ones were Dunsparce, if memory served.
What was this cave called again? Dark Cave... quite the silly name. Shaking his head, Steven rubbed his temples. They were near Violet City, but he wasn't about to ask the locals to help him remake the tunnel.
"Ah, we should get to work..."
Chromium gave a huff, and Titanium merely floated towards the collapsed entry. None present were probably alert enough to notice activity nearby, not with the situation at hand. At least it was evening, or the zubat wouldn't be too happy about being locked out of their home.
